Renault’s Kwid crosses 4 lakh sales milestone in India

French auto major Renault on Wednesday said its entry-level compact car Kwid has crossed the cumulative sales milestone of 4 lakh units in India.

Launched in 2015, the Renault Kwid is currently available in two petrol engine options of 0.8-litre and 1-litre in manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) versions. It has been designed and developed specifically for the Indian market.

The milestone coincides with Renault marking its 10th year of operations in India, Renault India said in a statement.
