Rapido, India’s leading commute app, boasting a remarkable 65% market share in the bike taxi segment, has officially launched its bike taxi services in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The distinguished presence of Shri Girish Pati Tripathi, the Hon’ble Mayor of Ayodhya Nagar Nigam, added prestige to the momentous occasion. This strategic move aims to make last-mile connectivity more affordable and create employment opportunities for locals in Ayodhya. The initiative seeks to reduce commuter reliance on traditional transportation methods such as e-rickshaws and shared autos, allowing commuters and locals to avoid the need to share rides and travel outside their local city for employment.

Following the launch, a rally was organized from Avantika Hotel, Civil Line in supervision of the Ayodhya administration. The introduction of bike taxi services will not only offer locals an opportunity to earn more but also ensure the delivery of top-notch commuting solutions to the locals and tourists. The service is already available in 12 cities in Uttar Pradesh, providing employment to over 1 lakh people and serving a million active users. Rapido’s expansion into Ayodhya signifies its commitment to improving last-mile connectivity across India.
