CSB Bank Ltd in association with ClearTax has launched the facility of e-filing of income tax for its NRI customers. This partnership with ClearTax will help CSB Bank’s customers to file their taxes online with reduced effort and lesser time. Self e-filing of income tax options will be completely free of cost. However, there will be CA assistance options for specialized return filings along with an expert advisory on matters like capital gains, global income, inheritance, which will be offered at a discounted rate only for CSB Bank customers. The facility will be extended to CSB Bank’s resident customers as well.
In terms of the procedure for self e-filing of income tax returns by CSB Bank customers, they need to visit the CSB website, go-to value-added services option, under NRI/ Personal Banking, and follow the given instructions. Customers can also select the mode of filing and avail discount using coupon code where ever applicable.
Further, CSB Bank and ClearTax shall collaboratively conduct periodic webinars with domain experts on various topics related to taxation. To make it even more comprehensive, free tax tools, chatbot, and call center support shall also be provided to the Bank’s customers for any queries related to self e-filing of income tax.
