India lost to Sri Lanka in a crucial match in Asia Cup. With this match there is almost a certainty that Team India is out of race to reach the final in the ongoing Asia Cup.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not even a part of this team but just after the match gets over, people trolled Rishabh Pant and recalled Dhoni. Basically, Sri Lanka needed 2 runs in 2 balls. Arshdeep singh was balling an excellent over dominated by perfect yorker length balls. Dasun Shanaka was facing the 5th delivery of the over. He could not connect with ball and it went directly to the gloves of wicket keeper Rishabh Pant.
Meanwhile, Bhanuka Rajapaksa from non striking end started to take a run. Rishabh Pant was caught unaware. He somehow threw the ball to hit the wickets. Alas! he missed the stumps and in the meanwhile no one could get hold of the ball and the Sri Lankan players ran for the second run. And Sri Lanka won the match by 6 wickets.
