The Legendary Portuguese Footballer to Release Multiple NFT Collections on Binance
Binance announced an exclusive, multi-year NFT partnership with Portuguese footballing legend Cristiano Ronaldo. Through this partnership, Binance will launch a global promotion aiming to give Ronaldo’s fans an introduction to Web3 with a compelling entry point into the world of NFTs.
Over the course of the agreement, Binance and Cristiano Ronaldo will create a series of NFT collections for sale exclusively on the Binance NFT platform. The first NFT collection will be released later this year and feature designs created in collaboration with Ronaldo.
Changpeng Zhao, the CEO and founder of Binance, praised Ronaldo’s accomplishments in soccer and mentioned that the athlete has “transcended sport to become an icon in multiple industries.” Zhao also said, “He has amassed one of the world’s most dedicated fan bases through his authenticity, talent and charity work.”
Zhao added that the Binance team is excited to give Ronaldo fans “exclusive engagement opportunities to connect with Ronaldo” as they own pieces of the NFT collections.
In a twitter post, Ronaldo said, “I’m delighted to announce my partnership with Binance. Together we are going to change the NFT game and Football to the next level. And this is just the beginning.” Here is the twitter post:
